N.E. of Mountain Home, ID.
The campground owners and workers were some very friendly
folks. One of the workers, Paula, was a 1969 graduate of
Jefferson High in Edgewater, CO. just like me!
What a small world.
Pretty and quiet spot, there was hardly any other campers.
Major forest fires in Idaho was keeping
people away.
Not many campers, but they still made great pancakes for me
and Bunny on the weekend.
Behind the camground there is the largest seed tater patch
in the world. Deer sure do like to munch
on tater plants.
Most evenings there would be up to 100 deer munching
on the tater plants.
